In Korean conversations, actively reacting to the other person (called 맞장구) shows engagement and warmth! You now have three distinct reactive tools:
1. -네요 (Direct Experience): You directly see, hear, or taste something and express spontaneous impression/surprise.
- 와, 커피가 정말 맛있네요! *(Wow, this coffee is really delicious!)*
2. -군요 / -는군요 (Realization): You learn new information or realize a fact you didn't know before.
- 아, 한국에서 3년 사셨군요! *(Ah, so you've lived in Korea for 3 years!)*
3. -지요 / -죠 (Agreement & Confirmation): You seek confirmation or invite the other person to agree.
- 오늘 날씨가 참 좋지요? *(The weather is lovely today, isn't it?)*
