1. 개요
everykoreans(이하 "개발자")은 치즈감자 앱(이하 "앱")과 웹사이트 everykoreans.com(이하 "웹")을 이용하는 분의 개인정보를 소중히 다루며, 아래와 같이 처리합니다.
앱과 웹은 같은 계정을 씁니다. 앱에서 만든 계정으로 웹에 로그인할 수 있고, 그 반대도 됩니다. 단어장도 같은 것을 봅니다.
앱과 웹 모두 광고 및 분석 도구를 일절 사용하지 않습니다. 이용자를 추적하거나 행동 데이터를 수집하지 않습니다.
2. 수집하는 항목

웹 자료마당에 올린 자료 (⚠️ 공개됩니다)
웹의 자료마당에 단어 자료를 올리면 아래 항목이 누구나 볼 수 있게 공개됩니다. 로그인하지 않은 사람도 보고 내려받을 수 있습니다.

올린 파일 자체는 저장하지 않습니다. 브라우저에서 단어와 뜻만 읽어내고 원본 파일은 그 자리에서 버립니다. 이메일 주소 전체는 공개되지 않습니다.
공개를 원하지 않으면 올리지 않으면 됩니다. 올린 뒤에도 본인이 언제든 삭제할 수 있습니다. 다만 이미 다른 사람이 내려받은 파일은 회수할 수 없습니다.
올린 자료는 본인이 지울 수 있고, 부적절한 자료는 개발자가 삭제합니다.
기기에만 저장되는 정보 (서버로 전송되지 않음)
화면 테마(다크/라이트), 앱 표시 언어, 프로필 이름 및 사진 경로.
수집하지 않는 항목
위치 정보, 연락처, 통화 기록, 기기 식별자, 광고 식별자, 이용 행태 분석 정보.
3. 이용 목적
- 계정 정보: 로그인, 본인 단어장 식별
- 콘텐츠: 단어장 저장 및 표시, 학습 진도 관리
- 사진: 단어 카드에 표시, AI 사물 인식(아래 4항 참고)
- 자료마당에 올린 자료: 다른 이용자가 보고 내려받을 수 있게 공개
4. 제3자 처리 위탁
앱은 아래 서비스를 이용하며, 필요한 범위에서만 정보를 전달합니다.

사진에 관한 안내: 카메라 기능으로 촬영한 사진은 사물 인식을 위해 구글의 Gemini API로 전송되어 처리됩니다. 사진을 촬영하지 않으면 전송되지 않으며, 단어와 뜻을 직접 입력해서도 앱을 사용할 수 있습니다.
각 서비스의 처리 방침:

5. 보관 및 파기
- 정보는 회원 탈퇴 시까지 보관합니다.
- 앱의 설정 → 계정 삭제를 누르면 계정, 단어장, 사진이 모두 즉시 영구 삭제됩니다. 자료마당에 올린 자료도 계정과 함께 지워집니다.
- 삭제된 정보는 복구할 수 없습니다. 다만 자료마당에서 다른 사람이 이미 내려받은 파일은 회수할 수 없습니다.
- 법령상 보관 의무가 있는 경우 해당 기간 동안만 보관 후 파기합니다.
6. 이용자의 권리
이용자는 언제든지 아래 권리를 행사할 수 있습니다.
- 열람·수정: 앱과 웹 어느 쪽에서든 단어를 보고, 더하고, 고칠 수 있습니다. 같은 계정이라 한쪽에서 바꾸면 다른 쪽에도 반영됩니다.
- 삭제: 개별 단어 삭제와 계정 삭제를 할 수 있습니다. 단어 삭제는 앱과 웹 양쪽에서, 전체 삭제와 계정 삭제는 앱에서 합니다. 자료마당에 올린 자료는 웹에서 본인이 바로 지울 수 있습니다.
- 학습 설정: 단어장 이름, 공부할 언어, 모국어, 하루 목표, 학습 기간은 앱과 웹 양쪽에서 바꿀 수 있습니다.
- 신고: 자료마당에서 부적절한 자료를 발견하면 해당 자료의 신고 버튼을 눌러 알려주세요. 확인 후 삭제합니다.

7. 접근 권한

사진첩 접근 권한은 요구하지 않습니다. 사진첩에서 이미지를 고를 때는 안드로이드의 시스템 사진 선택기를 이용하며, 여러분이 직접 고른 사진 한 장만 앱에 전달됩니다. 앱은 사진첩 전체를 읽을 수 없습니다.
권한을 거부해도 단어를 직접 입력하는 방식으로 앱의 모든 학습 기능을 쓸 수 있습니다. 권한은 기기의 설정에서 언제든 변경할 수 있습니다.
8. 안전성 확보 조치
- 모든 통신은 HTTPS로 암호화됩니다.
- 비밀번호는 단방향 암호화되어 저장되며 개발자도 원문을 알 수 없습니다.
- 데이터베이스에 행 수준 보안(RLS) 을 적용해, 로그인한 본인만 자신의 데이터에 접근할 수 있습니다.
- 사진은 비공개 저장소에 보관되며, 본인에게만 짧은 시간 유효한 주소가 발급됩니다.
- 자료마당은 올린 파일을 보관하지 않습니다. 브라우저에서 단어와 뜻만 읽어내고 원본은 버리므로, 파일에 딸려 오는 다른 정보가 서버에 남지 않습니다.
9. 아동의 개인정보
앱은 만 14세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않습니다. 만 14세 미만 아동이 보호자 동의 없이 가입한 사실을 알게 되면 해당 계정을 삭제합니다.
10. 변경 고지
이 방침이 변경되면 앱 스토어의 업데이트 내역과 이 페이지를 통해 알립니다. 중요한 변경은 앱 실행 시 별도로 안내합니다.

1. Overview
everykoreans ("we") operates the CheesePotato app ("the app") and the website everykoreans.com ("the site"). This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it.
The app and the site share one account. You can sign in to the site with the account you made in the app and vice versa, and both show the same wordbook.
Neither contains advertising or analytics SDKs. We do not track users or collect behavioral data.
2. What we collect
Account — email address and password (stored encrypted; we cannot read it). If you sign in with Google, we receive your email, name, and profile picture from Google. We never receive your Google password.
Your content — words and meanings, photos you take or choose, difficulty and memorization status, view counts, and study settings (wordbook name, languages, daily goal, study period, start date), profile name and picture.
Word lists you share on the site (⚠️ these become public) — if you upload a word list to the site's Library, the following becomes visible to anyone, including people who are not signed in:

We do not keep the file you upload. Your browser reads out the words and meanings, and the original file is discarded on the spot. Your full email address is never shown.
If you would rather not publish, simply do not upload. You can delete anything you shared at any time — though files other people already downloaded cannot be recalled. We remove inappropriate submissions.
Stored only on your device — theme preference, app language, profile name and photo path. These are never sent to our servers.
We do not collect location, contacts, call logs, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics.
3. How we use it
To sign you in, store and display your wordbook, track your study progress, and — for photos only — to recognize objects and generate vocabulary.

About photos: photos taken with the camera feature are sent to Google's Gemini API for object recognition. If you do not use the camera feature, no photo is ever sent. You can use the app fully by typing words yourself.

5. Retention and deletion
We keep your data until you delete your account. Settings → Delete account permanently removes your account, words, and photos immediately — including anything you shared in the site's Library. Deleted data cannot be recovered, and files other people already downloaded cannot be recalled.
6. Your rights
You can view, add and edit words in either the app or the site — it is one account, so a change in one shows up in the other. Study settings (wordbook name, languages, daily goal, study period) can be changed in both places too.
Deleting a single word works in both. Deleting all words and deleting your account are done in the app. Word lists you shared in the Library can be removed by you on the site.
Found something inappropriate in the Library? Use the report button on that entry and we will review and remove it.

7. Permissions
Camera and Notifications are both optional. Denying them still lets you use every study feature by entering words manually.
We do not request photo library access. Picking an image uses the Android system photo picker, which hands the app only the single photo you chose. The app cannot read your photo library.
You can change permissions in your device settings at any time.
8. Security
All traffic is encrypted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed one-way. The database enforces row-level security so only you can reach your own rows. Photos live in a private bucket and are served through short-lived signed URLs.
The Library never stores uploaded files. The browser reads out only the words and meanings and discards the original, so nothing else that a spreadsheet might carry ever reaches our servers.
9. Children
The app is not directed at children under 14. If we learn that a child under 14 has registered without parental consent, we will delete the account.
10. Changes
We will announce changes through the app store release notes and this page.
