When predicting what will happen or guessing an outcome, use -(으)ㄹ 것 같아요 (*“I think it will... / It seems like it will...”*):
- Stem without batchim → -ㄹ 것 같아요 *(비가 오다 → 비가 올 것 같아요)*
- Stem with batchim → -을 것 같아요 *(맛있다 → 맛있을 것 같아요)*

Notice the contrast:
- 비가 오는 것 같아요: Looking out the window right now, raindrops are falling. *(Present observation)*
- 비가 올 것 같아요: Looking at dark clouds or the forecast, you predict rain will come. *(Future guess)*
