-(으)니까 expresses a reason based on personal judgment, discovery, or when suggesting an action: *“Since / Because...”*

Attachment rule based on batchim:
- Stem has batchim → -
- Stem has no batchim → -

가다 (to go)No batchim · 가니까 (since I go...)
먹다 (to eat)Has batchim · 먹으니까 (since I eat...)
바쁘다 (busy)No batchim · 바쁘니까 (since I am busy...)
좋다 (good)Has batchim · 좋으니까 (since it is good...)
Unlike -아/어서, past tense CAN be used before -(으)니까!

*(Since we ate, let’s depart.)*
Since I am busy right now, let’s talk later.
Since the weather is nice, I feel great.
Since we ate, let’s take a walk.
