🚫 Saying No — 안 and 못

Don’t, and can’t. Korean keeps them apart.

English says “I don’t” for both choosing not to and being unable to. Korean does not. 안 is about will, 못 is about ability — and picking the wrong one changes what you are telling people about yourself.
