감사합니다 · gam-sa-ham-ni-daThank you. Note: 합니다 is said “ham-ni-da” — the ㅂ turns into ㅁ before ㄴ.
죄송합니다 · joe-song-ham-ni-daI am sorry. Also used for “excuse me” when squeezing past someone.
안녕하세요 is a question in disguise. It literally asks “are you at peace?”. That is why it works as both hello and how-are-you, and why nobody expects a real answer.
